MASCI is committed and proud to participate in the development, implementation of activities and projects for society and the environment, and to support the development of Thailand’s industrial sector, workforce, and quality infrastructure. MASCI allocates resources, budget, and personnel to drive these initiatives.
Activities and Projects Implementation
- The Youth Environmental Conservation Project Year 1 and Year 2
This project aims to raise awareness and involvement among youths and their families in activities that minimize environmental impact. It includes providing education and conducting activities in collaboration with secondary schools.
- The Model School Standard System for Drug Prevention Project & The School Standards for Drug-related Issues Project in Collaboration with the Volunteer Bureau of the Thai Red Cross Society
This project promotes knowledge and understanding of the dangers of drugs among schools, communities, families, and students, fostering awareness and joint efforts in drug prevention campaigns within schools. It aims to build drug immunization at the family and community levels by collaboratively setting standards, conducting evaluations, and quality control of the drug prevention systems in schools.
- The Development of Industrial Product Standards in the Context of Sufficiency Economy for the Industrial Sector (TIS 9999 Part 1 – 2013) by the Ministry of Industry
This project aims to develop principles and guidelines based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and to integrate organizational management systems in a balanced way across economic, social, and environmental aspects. The goal is to ensure secure, sustainable growth and happiness in all organizational sectors. This is founded on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy as articulated by His Majesty the King, which states that achieving sustainable happiness requires applying the principles of Sufficiency Economy both at collective and individual levels. These principles include reasonableness, moderation, and robust immunity.
MASCI has developed and promoted these standards to become the TIS (Thai Industrial Standards) through the Thai Industrial Standards Institute. It also supports businesses in adopting these standards to ensure sustainable growth.
- The SME Promotion Project Year 1 – Year 4
This project aims to enhance the knowledge and capabilities of SME, VSE, and Start-Up entrepreneurs in international management standards. It seeks to strengthen their resilience and increase the competitiveness of the Thai industrial sector both domestically and internationally.
- The CAB Project
This project focuses on developing the knowledge and capabilities of personnel involved in inspection and certification. It also aims to expand the workforce in Thailand’s quality infrastructure by enhancing the capabilities of inspection bodies, certification bodies, and testing and calibration laboratories.
- The MS Auditor Project
This project aims to develop the knowledge and capabilities of personnel within the network institutions of the Ministry of Industry to serve as management system auditors.
- The MASCI Academy Project
This project focuses on developing professional personnel in management standards for entrepreneurs, particularly SME and VSE entrepreneurs.
- The Medical Personnel Training Project
This project aims to enhance the knowledge of medical personnel at Rajavithi Hospital on international quality standards ISO 15189 and medical laboratory safety standards ISO 15190. The goal is to prepare them for the accreditation of their medical laboratory systems.
- The Breast Prosthesis Donation Project
This project involves donating breast prostheses to assist breast cancer patients. It is part of volunteer activities in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother and is carried out in collaboration with Sabina Far East Co., Ltd.
- The New Life Bra-Cycle Project
This project involves donating old bras to be used as an alternative fuel to coal in the cement industry. It aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and is conducted in collaboration with Sabina Far East Co., Ltd.
